The Blackbird is a classic and versatile mountaineering ice axe: its head is designed with Chromoly steel, both light and rigid, for effective anchoring.

This straight axe is the ideal tool for both glacier approach and classic mountaineering excursions.

Make your ice axe unique with personalized engraving. By default, we engrave the ice axe on the back edge, just below the head, for a discreet, elegant finish.

Super ice axe!!

I needed a new ice axe, especially considering my old one (Stubai, 30+ years old) comes in at 780 grams 🥵 The blackbird is much lighter, great finish, comes with protection included. Very happy so far, now waiting for the right conditions to use it!
