Description
The ultralight & hyper compact hybride crampons for ski touring & classic mountaineering.
Harfang crampons are ultralight (377g per pair without ABS) and hyper compact, designed for ski touring and classic mountaineering. With chromoly steel front rail, aluminum secondary and rear rails they offer an excellent balance between performance, weight and compactness.
Our patented concept is based on a central textile strap that connects the front and back rails and allow it to mount it in the most suitable position based on the application or the geometry of the boots. One size fits all.
Using a flexible strap linking system minimizes bulk and offers a real compactness, while offering remarkable precision and comfort. The heel pivot is equipped with a micro adjustment dial to fine tune the crampon on the shoe. It is an automatic crampon, which adapts to all ski touring boots featuring a toe welt, as well as mountaineering shoes with rigid sole and toe welt. Supplied with ABS.
They are delivered in their bag which can be attached to your belt or snap into the backpack. You have your crampons close at hand without the clutter, as they are very compact.
And in the bag, they take up a minimum of space ...But it is on your feet that they work the best !
Note: the ankle strap has no end stop be sure to tie a knot to prevent loss.

Acheté ces crampons poiur ski rando. Poids super. Après plusieurs règlages en longuieur de la sangle cenrtale semble fiable en tenue. Par contre le systeme d'attache de la sangle autour de la cheville est 1 désastre:
- beaucoup trop tetit pour être manipulé aves des gants,
- s'effiloche avec le temps donc et on ne peut plus passer la boucle dedans
- pas d'arrêt en bout de sangle: perdu le crochet en cours de manip dans la neige.
Bref plutôt que de vouloir faire nouveau et beau gardez ce qui est pratique et fiable (les bons vieux clips)
NB: prix des 2 sangles sur votre site = 20€ + 10€ frais envoie oui DIX€!!!!! (trouvées a 18€ ailleurs + 3€ envoie) ... vous n'aimez vraimant pas vos clients ou vous foutez ouvertement de leur gueule??

Nous sommes désolés que vous ayez rencontré des difficultés dans leur utilisation.
Notre philosophie est de développer des produits aussi compact et légers que possible, ce qui implique de faire certains compromis, comme sur la taille de la sangle ou des crochets.
Les crochets demandent une certaine habitude mais sont tout à fait manipulables avec des gants.
Pour protéger le surplus de sangle, il convient de le glisser sous la guêtre du pantalon.
Enfin, vous pouvez faire un noeud en bout de sangle pour éviter de perdre le crochet.
Ces recommandations devraient être plus clairement exprimées dans la description du produit et nous allons y remédier.

Veramente poco ingombranti, e veloci da montare! Soprattutto se si usano per delle competizioni da scialpinismo! Veloci da ripiegare e anche da mettere! Una volta regolati peso e praticità sono il loro punti di forza.

I have trouble fitting them back into the pouch though - is there a how-to video, that I missed? Would help a lot!
Excellent product
I wrote a bad review earlier, cos they dont fit on snowboard boots. It was more my fault than any, nowhere did it say fits snwbd boots. So sorry for that. However, petzl makes a basket toe clip on for snowboard boots. They sell it separately and it fits my blue ice.. I will leave a propper review when I get the delivery from petzl. Still psyked on using them
